Panoramas
Images designed to capture the totality of the landscape experience.
Typically these images have a field of view of 120 degrees or more so that when viewed in print they transport the viewer back to the place and time of their creation.
They are usually created by taking a multi-image mosaic of the vista using a High Dynamic Range (HDR) multi-exposure image at each mosaic position. This process ensures that a representation as close as possible to what I saw with my eyes is presented to the viewer. Occasionally a single wide-angle HDR shot is sufficient to capture the moment.
For more information on HDR imagery and other aspects of my process check out the Technical pages. Details relating to a specific image can be found on the image page.
